Wicked is the perfect sweater to add to any collection! The pattern includes instructions for a worsted weight and a lace weight mohair sweater. It also includes instructions for short sleeves, 1/2 sleeves, long sleeves and for adding a pocket... This pattern truly is a "choose your own adventure" knit, no matter what your skill level may be.
• 1 US 7(4.5mm) 32” circular needle OR needle size to obtain gauge.
• 1 US 7(4.5mm) circular, length of your choice.
(1 circular is needed for the body, both are needed for knitting the sleeves in the round. (if you prefer to knit in the round with doublepointed needles, you’ll also need a set of US 7 dpn’s)
•5 Zephyr stitch markers
•3 split ring markers
•straight pins
•row counter (this is very helpful when working the pocket)
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends and seeming down the top of the pocket)
gauge:
18 sts & 26 rows in St st = 4” on size US 7 (4.5mm) needles. (or size to obtain gauge.)
materials:
•yarn for body with 1/2 length sleeve:
600 (600, 700, 700, 800, 800, 900) yds. lace weight mohair. (if you’d like to knit a long-sleeved version add 200 more yds. of mohair)
